Skylotec® Bypass for Ergogrip

The Bypass is a fastening device for use with a guy rope on a wooden pole. When put under load, the Bypass will grip onto the wooden pole, thus preventing the user from sliding down. Two Bypasses per person are required to ensure safety. This will guarantee that the user is safe at all times (when transferring between crossbeams, during anchoring, rescues, etc.).

Fitting onto guy rope: The Bypass is fitted through a self-closing gate to the guy rope. It is then run behind the pole so that the guy rope is in front of the pole. The carabiner hook of the guy rope is fed through the carabiner/o-ring of the Bypass and then secured to a side attachment ring.

To be used with Ergogrip Positioning Lanyard.
